Line Gun upgrade: From the Hydroponics Deck central hub, take the door towards the Mining Tram Station, and you'll find a Master Override crate immediately in front of you with the upgrade inside.Open the door and the box inside to find the upgrade. Move these out of the way to find the Master Override door to Tool Storage. Contact Beam upgrade: When you enter the Mining Deck from the tram station, you'll find some slidable kinesis boxes.This is the same room where you got the Ripper weapon for the first time. You can find it inside the Master Override crate next to the upgrade console. To get Master Override clearance you'll need to complete the new 'You are not Authorised' sidequest, which involves gathering Crew Rigs across the ship. More weapons so more ammo gets divided! So unless you really have a third important choice of weapon that you really use i advice to stick with only two weapons and focusing on maxing them out. Also the other main reason is that if you strictly stick to specific weapons in the game you will find ammo of that weapons only by destroying necromorphs which is why only on rare occasion will you run out of ammo. I am playing on hardcore and it made a huge difference even then the only reason i tried that weapon out because i only ever use two weapons in the game plasma cutter and Pulse Rifle as Plasma cutter's ammo are really cheap and you get it in abundance and Pulse Rifle with maxed capacity can carry 150 ammo which saves up lots of inventory and also cheap.
